DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
During the administration and delivery of aimeQED, a longitudinal assessment platform, the AIME Center and all subsidiaries of the AIME Center (“AIME”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) must collect and utilize personal and professional information pertaining to its administrators and users. The AIME Center has issued this Data Privacy and Security Policy to govern the collection, use and disclosure of such information. The Policy’s purpose is to help protect the security and privacy of information provided during the certification processes.
The AIME Center requires that administrators and users provide certain personal information to be used during their licensing agreement with the AIME Center or during the use of subsidiary platforms. We work diligently to keep such information confidential and protected and to limit such disclosures to those who “need to know” the information to properly perform AIME Center functions.
The AIME Center maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect and secure all personal information in its possession. The AIME Center’s security measures endeavor to protect the confidentiality of online communications, longitudinal assessment results and other data related to AIME Center operations.
Longitudinal assessment and assessment statistical probabilities as well as sensitive administrator and user data transmissions are encrypted and stored in secure areas of AIME Center systems accessible only by authorized personnel with a unique ID and password. AIME Center database servers used for transactions and communication with administrators and users are located in a restricted, secure area accessible only by authorized personnel. Firewalls and monitoring devices are utilized to seek to prevent unauthorized access via the Internet. The AIME Center endeavors to take reasonable precautions to ensure that personal information is not exposed to unauthorized persons. In the unlikely event that an unauthorized party gains access to personal information stored in the AIME Center’s computer systems, AIME Center personnel will notify the affected person(s) without unreasonable delay and consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement. In this event, the AIME Center will take steps to determine the scope of the breach and restore our systems to a reasonable level of security.
